Robinsons Card

1. Applications are open to all aged 18 years and above.

2. The Robinsons Card is not a credit card.

3. The Robinsons Card has no expiry date.

4. In the event that the card is terminated by either party rebate will be considered null and void.

5. Members must present their Robinsons Card before making purchases. Strictly no reimbursement allow.

6. The Robinsons Card is non-transferable and is for the exclusive use of the Robinsons cardmember.

7. In the event the card is damaged, the registered member must present the damaged card at Robinsons The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley, Customer Service Counter Level 2 for a replacement.

In the event the card is lost/stolen, the registered member must report the loss/theft of the card to Robinsons The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley, Customer Service Counter Level 2. 

9. A replacement fee of RM10 will be imposed for each lost/stolen card.

Rebate accumulated from lost, stolen or damaged card will be transferred to the replacement card subject that report was made before end of any qualifying period. (Refer to Clause in Section B) Rewards > 1 (b) for qualifying period information)

Robinson & Co (M) Sdn Bhd and/or its partners have the right to: -

11.1. Use the information given via the application of the Robinsons Card for their 
their marketing and card promotion activities as per Section C) Personal Data Protection Act 2010 > Notice to customer

11.2. Decline the issuance or withdraw the Robinsons card at any time or terminate the membership as and when necessary with notice.

11.3. Suspend or terminate the program at any time it deems necessary. In such a case, Robinson & Co (M) Sdn Bhd shall give advance notice to members in the manner Robinson & Co (M) Sdn Bhd deems appropriate.

11.4. Omit, add or amend the Robinsons Card Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Any new or amended terms and conditions will override the existing Robinsons Card Terms and Conditions.

1. Rebate Collection and Redemption Program

Every ringgit spent in Robinsons Malaysia earns 5% rebate.

b) Present Robinsons card to earn 5% rebate on all qualifying nett purchases. Rebate earned in each quarter are redeemable on the next quarterly basis (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sept, Oct-Dec) through the issuance of Robinsons Gift Vouchers of equivalent value rounded down to the nearest RM5.

Rebate earned from Quarter 1 (Jan – Mar) shall be redeemable within Quarter 2 ( Apr – Jun)

c) Only eligible members will be notified. Robinson & Co (M) Sdn Bhd will not bare any responsibility for any failure or late arrival of rebate notification which may due to cardmember’s out-dated personal data or any unforeseen situation

d) Notification of rebate redemption to cardmembers may be via SMS, EMAIL or LETTER POSTAGE registered in Malaysia ONLY.

e) Redemption of the Robinsons Gift Voucher is at Customer Service, Level 2, Robinsons, The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley City.

f) The following items are not included in the rebate calculation:
• Purchases by Robinsons Gift/Promotional Vouchers 
• Purchases by Credit Vouchers
• Corporate Purchases

g) Purchases of the Robinsons Gift Voucher are NOT consider a qualifying purchases.

h) Robinsons cardmembers are required to produce their Robinsons Card, Identity Card or Passport and the original rebate letter in order to redeem the Robinsons Gift Voucher.

i) Robinson & Co (M) Sdn Bhd reserves the right to refuse voucher redemption for a valid reason or if it is suspected that the rebate were fraudulently accumulated by the Robinsons cardmember or wrongly recorded.

2. Earn Up to 10% rebate

With the Robinsons Card, you are entitled to earn up to 10% rebate for any spend above RM6,000 at Robinsons Malaysia. All subsequent purchases beyond RM6,000 in the qualifying period (Jan - Jun, July - Dec) earns you 10% rebate through the issuance of Robinsons Gift Voucher, rounded down to the nearest RM5.

  • 5% rebate are paid out every quarter
  • 10% rebate calculation is earned for spend period, 1 Jan - 30 Jun, and 1 Jul - 31 Dec, and is paid out after end of Quarter 2 and Quarter 4 respectively

Cardmember A spends RM5,000 in Quarter 1, and RM800 in Quarter 2.
Quarter 1 rebate earned = RM250
Quarter 2 rebate earned = RM40

Total rebate earned for the 10% qualifying period = RM 290

Cardmember B spends RM7,000 in Quarter 3, and RM5,000 in Quarter 4.
Quarter 3 rebate earned = RM350
Quarter 4 rebate earned = RM250 + [(RM7,000+RM5,000-RM6,000) x 5%]
= RM250 + RM300 
= RM550

Total rebate earned for the 10% qualifying period = RM900

Robinson & Co. (M) Sdn. Bhd ("the Company") is subject to the Data Protection Principles in the pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 in which this notice is to outline:

  • how we handle the personal data of individuals

Personal Data the Company Collect

The nature of the personal data that we collect comes directly from you, which may include but not limited to:

  • Personal data we collect from applications or other forms such as name, addresses, e-mail addresses, contact numbers, details of your identity documents (such as NRIC number, passport number, etc), information concerning age, occupation, date of birth, gender, marital status, types of service requested and personal interest (collectively refer as "the personal data")
  • Personal data about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or third parties such as purchasing history
  • Personal data on you may be obtained from various reference checks or online responses (such as online enquiries or social media like Facebook)

The Purpose of Collecting and Processing Your Personal Data by the Company

The purpose for which your personal data is collected and further process for the following purposes:

  • Establish a relationship between you and the Company and/or affiliates
  • Process applications for products or to facilitate delivery of services
  • Facilitate in delivery of marketing and promotional communications
  • Profiling activities in connection with any services and products related of the Company and/or business partners
  • Database (s) record keeping, maintenance and updating; to other administrative purposes including audits, fraud monitoring and prevention
  • Communication as to understand your needs, including responding to your enquiries
  • For research, benchmarking, statistical analysis and development of products and services for improvement
  • Comply with any legal, regulatory or statutory requirements relating to the Company provision of products and service
  • For such other purposes as permitted by applicable law or with your consent
  • For all other purposes incidental and associated with any of the above and/or required or permitted under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010

Data Security and Disclosure of your Personal Data

The personal data collected will be store and safeguards by the Company in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations to prevent unauthorized or unlawful processing of your personal data and minimize accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to , your personal data.

Your personal data will be kept confidential but such personal data may be provided to the following categories of parties for purposes of such disclosure:

  • Any of our affiliates in and outside Malaysia
  • Any agent, service provider, communications, intermediary bank the Company or its affiliates may use in connection with the Company or its affiliates' business
  • Any financial institution and charge or credit card issuing companies, third party products and service providers for the purpose of informing you of products and services which we believe will be of interest to you
  • Law enforcement authorities

Your personal data may be stored or transferred to locations and systems outside Malaysia subject to appropriate controls over information security.

Rights to Dispute and Access

The company shall endeavour to implement the appropriate administrative and security safeguards in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations to prevent the unauthorized or unlawful processing of your personal data and the accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, your personal data.

You have the rights under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 to make a data access request in respect of personal data the company holds about you. The company will validate the identity of anyone making an access request, ensure that the company do not provide your information to anyone who does not have the right to that information.

Where a data subject establishes that the personal data the company hold on them is not accurate, complete or up-to-date, the company will correct records as necessary.

The company may charge you an administration fee for providing access in accordance with your request.
