Oscar Jacobson, renowned for its craftsmanship and impeccable sense of style, has been in the forefront of men’s classic tailoring for over  100 years  in Sweden.

Magnus Bengtsson, Managing Director and CEO of Oscar Jacobson Retail was recently in Kuala Lumpur to conduct a workshop on “The Makings of a Good Suit and A Good Looking Man.” Held at the newly- opened Robinsons at The Gardens Galleria at Midvalley City, the event was attended by over 80 invited OCBC Robinsons Platinum cardmembers  and OCBC Premier Banking members.

Guests were treated to a short talk by Magnus on the details of a suit, what are the qualities and details to look out for and the various styles and coordination to complete a look. This was followed by tips on the various dress code and the do’s and don’ts on wearing a suit. For the traveling man, Magnus advised on the type of suits to pack for a business trip and demonstrated on how to fold a suit and trousers which the audience found very informative.

Guests were later treated to a presentation by the Regional Brand Manager of Acanta Cigar Club, Mr. Warren on the various types of cigars, the art of smoking cigar followed by sampling of cigars and cognac.

Later on in the evening, Magnus was on hand giving advise to various guests who were interested in buying a suit and what to look for when buying them. Oscar Jacobson is available exclusively at Robinsons Malaysia and Singapore.
